Basic Quinoa


cups chicken or vegetable broth

cup quinoa


Rinse the quinoa with water, using a strainer.

Combine quinoa and water in a medium sized saucepan with well fitted lid.

Bring to a boil.

Cover and reduce to a simmer

Cook until all of the water is absorbed. Use the cooking time from your packaged quinoa. Expect about 15 minutes. Look for transparent not white grains.

Serve immediately or store in refrigerator for future uses.
